We chose to base our work on the study of a well-developed country as USA, an emergent country as China and on a developed country that some should follow as Sweden. Our goal is to explain easily how these countries are dealing with environment and especially today with the cop21.

USA is one of the most powerful countries in the world, so it has the power to act on global warming, but paradoxically, it's the second most polluting country with 14,4% of the global emissions, and the governement doesn't seem to make environment one of its priority.

  • How can a developed country be so unconcerned about the environment?

  • Can the COP21 be the solution to strainghten up the USA?

China is the biggest polluter in the world. However the dunce has initiated a change in its strategy while COP21 is starting. Unfortunalty, two days before the opening of COP21, China has reached a record of pollution… So China really needs to act quickly.

  • How does China manage environmental issues?

  • What are its proposals and commitments in the framework of the COP21?

Sweden appears to be one of the most sustainable countries in the world, thanks to its use of renewable energy sources and low carbon dioxide emissions, as well as social and governance practices and commitment.

  • How can this country, unlike the United States or China for instance, be so environmentally-friendly while having a highly developed and industrialized economy?
